A Holiday is lights blinking...
Almost like a UFO, but nicer.
I see a tree down on my street… which seems odd, since I didn’t think it’s been very windy in comparison to past storms.
I how the library is open and running… but almost everything else is closed down. I have the whole place to myself…
This Brown U shooting is really something. Now it’s leading to UFO type physics… cold fusion energy and the world energy supply. The mysteries of plasma science are beyond me.
And the hero of the day is a homeless janitor. I can so relate to that.
Gosh only knows how many years I spent as a homeless janitor in college. That was my main job for many years. I worked in about 7 different buildings. As an English major it was fun to go cleaning in the English Professor’s offices… which always looked like something from a game show. And when I worked in the Music building, I got to go through the offices with grand pianos, which I’d play… alone at night.
It was the long, dark, empty hallways that always made it a most poetic employment.
As for long dark days, I have to say I’m looking forward to the sun coming back… occupational hazard in the PNW. Too much gloom!
I liked this story and illustration that went with a book done in Korea. One thing I liked was that the editors accepted the work with scarcely a single word changed.
That doesn’t happen very often. My former agent, who also did a book with them had to make endless changes.
This is how many steps a bicycle thief would have to climb down to get away with stealing another bike. That’s my studio at the very top. Now my backyard is all locked up.
I saw a forecast calling for 5 feet of snow in the PNW! That’d be something… I think they meant in the mountains.
Oh, and my Christmas book… which I totally forgot to publicise. Why is it I figure no one wants to see books over a few years old? It isn’t that way with ‘grownup novels’ so much. But it was fun to make.
